Queensbury man charged with sexual abuse of a child

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Queensbury man has been arrested following a sex crime investigation, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office. Nathaniel North, 19, was charged with first-degree sexual abuse.

Police say that North is accused of having sexual contact with a nine-year-old child that is known to him while at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Queensbury. He was arraigned at the Warren County CAP Court on January 24 before being released on his own recognizance.

North is scheduled to appear at the Queensbury Town Court on February 5. Stay with NEWS10 as this story continues to develop.
