Wilton animal rescue will add your ex's name to litter box for Valentine's Day

WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Valentine's Day is quickly approaching on February 14, but not everyone may have a valentine this year. If you're single and/or your ex broke your heart, Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) in Wilton may have something to make you feel better.

If you donate $5 to the organization, they will write your ex's name on a heart, put it in one of their litter boxes, and send you a photo of it. You can get back at your ex and donate to a good cause.

H.O.P.E. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping animals whose owners have passed away or can no longer keep them. Some of the pets are surrendered directly to H.O.P.E. but others come from local rescues or shelters that are at capacity.
