The three got into an argument with a 35-year-old man in High Street before they violently turned on him.
During the fight, the victim fell to the floor with Maxwell using a wrench to repeatedly hit him, causing heavy bleeding.
The shocking clip shows Maxwell strike the bleeding man around 30 times before running away.
The victim was rushed to hospital where he was treated for extensive bruising and needed more than 15 stitches to his head.
Maxwell, Hillyer and Molloy were arrested a short time later after they were recognised by CCTV operators.
Maxwell admitted grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon while Hillyer and Molloy both pleaded guilty to affray.
Maxwell, previously of Kirkconnel Drive, Glasgow, was jailed for two years at Northampton Crown Court last Thursday (25/1).
Hillyer, of Duke Street, Kettering, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for two years, while Molloy, of no fixed abode, will be sentenced on March 7.
Detective Sergeant Colin Gibb, of Northamptonshire Police, said: “As you can see from the footage we have released, this was a savage attack with Maxwell repeatedly hitting the victim again and again with no thought as to the consequences.
“I am pleased that he has been sent to prison and that his accomplices in the attack, Hillyer and Molloy, have also been convicted.
“Tackling serious violence is a priority for Northamptonshire Police and I want to reassure the public that we will continue working hard to put people like Ryan Maxwell behind bars.”
