Mexico City-US border passenger rail service proposed by CPKC
MEXICO CITY, Mexico: Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said that rail company Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) has proposed a passenger train service from Mexico City to the U.S. border and will present a study on the route in May.
During his regular morning press conference, Lopez Obrador stated that his government supports the dual use of rail lines previously only used for cargo transport.
