I used to be a sushi model & learned a great trick if you don’t want to wear underwear but still need a bit of coverage
A FORMER sushi model has shared a fashion hack from her days in the business.
She explained that during shoots when she still wanted coverage without underwear, it was her go-to fashion hack.
Sushi modeling is a traditional Japanese practice where sushi is served on the body of a model, usually female.
Models must hold a specific pose as the chefs place pieces of sushi on them, combining art, food, and even fashion.
She explained that she had a secret weapon she utilized to cover up her private parts while at work.
“This is a C-string, I first learned about it when I did a little bit of sushi modeling and it’s just really big in lingerie,” she said.
“Kind of instead of having a pair of underwear on, if you’re wearing lingerie or whatever. It goes exactly where you’d expect it to.”
She added that for a past photoshoot, she opted for a white C-string and that viewers had a variety of colors to choose from.
“When you want to wear bottoms but not have any lines on the side = C-string,” she said.
C-strings, an experimental form of lingerie, aims to avoid a visible panty line.
The garment is an in-between choice for women who struggle with the decision to either go commando or have obvious underwear lines.
A typical C-string includes a sanitary towel shaped piece of fabric that covers the crotch.
The fabric held in place by a thin piece of curved wire that goes between the butt cheeks.
Many kinds of C-string underwear are advertised as being undetectable, with the user not even able to feel it there.
Whether that’s true or not, is up to those who decide to try it for themselves.
