Maryland weather: Sunny skies, warm temperatures to continue throughout week
Following a warm weekend, the Baltimore metropolitan area will continue to see sunny skies and warm temperatures during the first full week of February. The area is predicted to have temperature highs mainly in the 50s and lows in the 20s.
The National Weather Service forecasts the week to kick off with sunniness and a high around 53 degrees and a low around 25 on Monday.
Tuesday, expected to be the coldest day of the week, will have a high around 48 and a low around 22 at night.
Similar to Monday, the NWS predicts Wednesday to be sunny with a high around 53 and a low of 24.
The weather service forecasts the region to warm up even further on Thursday with a high of 56 and a low of 36.
Friday, which should be the warmest day of the week, will have temperatures reach as high as 58 and a low dipping to 43.
The NWS anticipates the weekend to continue the trend of warm weather. On Saturday, the region is forecast to have a high in the 60s and a low in the 40s.
Sunday will have a high in the 50s, but there will be a slight chance of showers.
