Serious crash: Route 52, Alfredton

Police are at the scene of a serious crash involving a motorcycle at Alfredton, east of Eketahuna.

Emergency services were advised shortly before 10am today. The crash occurred on Route 52, between Pori Road and Pa Valley Road.

The road is currently closed while the Serious Crash Unit investigates. Diversions are being put in place and motorists should expect delays.
