Combating Masculinist Discourse Online

In March 2023, the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) met at the United Nations headquarters to discuss an unprecedented theme: women's rights in the digital age. While reaffirming the emancipatory potential of digital tools for women and marginalised groups - particularly in terms of access to sexual and reproductive health services - the CSW also reasserted that online spaces are places of unprecedented violence
