Kenneth Law, the Ontarian accused of selling "suicide kits" to hundreds in at least 40 countries, back into the spotlight. In addition, they have sparked
an increase in coverage of "DIY suicide" across the globe. Much of this coverage fails to follow evidence-based best practices for reporting on suicide. Such negligence has been shown to exacerbate the problem rather than mitigate it.
