Body of missing Norman man found in Lake Thunderbird

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - The body of a missing man from Norman has been found.

According to Norman PD, 20-year-old Josue Garcia was last seen on January 27 in the 1900 block of E. Lindsay St.

Police also noted that Garcia could have been in danger as his recent behavior was abnormal.

Norman Police announced on Monday, February 5, that both Garcia and the car he was driving have been recovered from Lake Thunderbird from an apparent crash into the lake.

The accident is under investigation by the Oklahoma State Park Rangers as the incident happened within their jurisdiction.
