Third suspect arrested in 2022 Vermont homicide
DANBY, Vt. (NEWS10) -- A third suspect was arrested in connection to the 2022 homicide of Isiah Rodriguez in Danby, Vermont. Elijah Johnson (22, Manchester), faces multiple charges.
According to Vermont State Police, Johnson was arrested on an outstanding warrant and is accused of being an accessory after the fact. Additional charges include conspiracy to commit murder and aiding in the commission of a felony.
Johnson was arrested in Burlington after he was released from federal custody on unrelated charges. He was taken to the Rutland Barracks for processing and is now held at the Marble Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $15,000 bail.
On January 30, Ashley Wicks, 32, and Shawn Bulson, 28, both of Bennington, were arrested in connection to the homicide. Johnson is expected to be arraigned at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
