Harbor Freight sets opening date in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Harbor Freight Tools has set its grand opening date in Schenectady. The store will be opening on Saturday, February 10 at 2330 Watt Street in Crosstown Commons.

"Our team is ready to serve and deliver value to customers in Schenectady and all of Schenectady County," said Store Manager Dennis Miller. "At Harbor Freight, we recognize that now, more than ever, our customers depend on us for the tools they need to get the job done at an affordable price."

Harbor Freight has a full selection of tools and equipment such as automotive, air and power tools, storage, outdoor power equipment, generators, welding supplies, shop equipment, hand tools, and more.

The new location has brought about 25 to 30 jobs to the community, said Harbor Freight. The Schenectady store will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

This will be Harbor Freight’s seventh store in the Capital Region and 64th in New York. The company has other locations in Albany, Amsterdam, Catskill, Clifton Park, Queensbury, and Troy.
