‘You’re my motivation,’ people say as ‘pretty big girl’ who found running ‘hard’ shows off 30-lb weight loss
A CURVY model revealed how she lost 25 pounds after she realized she “needed a change.”
She refers to herself as a “pretty big girl” and models for Fashion Nova. Now, people online are saying she’s their fitness inspiration.
TikToker Elizabeth Cruz (@theprettybiggirl917) decided to change her workout routine after feeling uncomfortable in her body.
She shared a clip of herself standing in front of the mirror and grabbing her belly.
“Three months ago I decided it was time for a change,” she wrote.
“I decided to challenge myself as a plus-size person to start running,” Elizabeth continued.
The next snippets showed her jogging on a treadmill.
“Was really hard at first, but with eating a good diet and stretching properly it got easier,” she continued.
Elizabeth also started to lift weights.
“I was the heaviest I’ve been in the last video,” she wrote. “I realized that and just kept running.”
Then she started to “fall in love” with the exercise and began to take her runs outside.
At her heaviest, Elizabeth said she weighed 289 pounds but dropped 25 pounds in three months.
Currently, she weighs 264 pounds.
