In a classic case of putting corporate profits before human needs, Norfolk Southern, which destroyed East Palestine a year ago, spent some $6 million on propaganda fooling voters into selling the Cincinnati Southern Railway for $1.6 billion in 2023. As a result, its victims in East Palestine are left uncompensated in toxic cages.
