Couple who found love on the bus win bumper Valentine’s weekend with luxury stay at London’s Park Lane Hilton
WHEN Mark and Kerry Rourke boarded their bus to work 15 years ago, they had no idea they were actually on the road to the altar.
Now the happy couple are set to celebrate a romantic weekend in London after their tale of how love blossomed won our great Valentine’s competition.
Customer services worker Kerry, 38, said: “I had left my gym bag on the bus, and he jumped off to make sure I didn’t leave it.
“We went for a drink that afternoon – 15 years later we are married with two wonderful children.
“I am grateful for him and that bus ride every single day.”
The loved-up pair will enjoy a night of five-star luxury at the Hilton hotel on Park Lane, plus complimentary tickets to a top West End theatre show courtesy of buyagift.co.uk.
Kerry and team manager Mark, 43, from Wimborne, Dorset, wed in 2022 and have kids Eva, 11, and Jack, nine.
The mum said of their prize: “I can’t thank The Sun on Sunday enough.
“It will be really nice to have a break.”

SOAP legend Bill Roache is punting personalised Valentine’s Day videos for £51 a time – as he faces his second bankruptcy.
Fans can pay the actor, who plays Corrie’s Ken Barlow, to film a soppy, three-minute message for their other half through website Cameo.
For an extra £33, they can get 24-hour delivery.
It comes as the TV veteran has been formally petitioned by HMRC over tax arrears.
Bill, 91, who has been on the soap since 1960, is the show’s highest-paid star, pocketing around £250,000 a year.

But he said he regretted his infidelity, which ended his first marriage to Anna Cropper in 1974. Second wife Sara Mottram died in 2009.
