Arrest made in connection to Albany stabbing
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An arrest has been made in connection to a stabbing that occurred on Sunday morning in Albany, according to police. The incident took place near Broadway and North Ferry Street around 2:30 a.m.
Police stated that a 32-year-old Uber driver in the area reportedly intervened between two other people that were engaged in a physical altercation. As a result of the dispute, the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries to the lower body.
The suspect was taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The investigation remains ongoing.
