Rensselaer Police investigating fatal train accident

RENSSELAER, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Rensselaer Police Department announced they are investigating a fatal train accident that occurred on February 10. The incident took place in the area of East Street and Second Avenue.

According to police, a person was struck by an Amtrak passenger train around 4 p.m on Saturday afternoon. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
