Are Amy and Johnny still together? They're 'Love Is Blind' season 6's strongest couple
Amy and Johnny are the most solid couple on "Love Is Blind" season 6 so far. But do they make it down the aisle? Here's what we could deduce.
- Warning: Spoilers ahead for the first six episodes of "Love Is Blind" season six.
- Amy and Johnny are the first couple to get engaged in the pods.
- Their relationship seems to be smooth sailing so far. Here's what we know about if they make it to the altar.
Johnny McIntyre and Amy Cortés have one of the sweetest romances on "Love Is Blind" season six.
Unlike the numerous other love triangles (and quadrangles) in the pods, Amy and Johnny only have eyes for one another — at least as far as we can tell from the first six episodes. The two quickly bond over their similar senses of humor and their matching priorities. The only potential conflict we've seen so far is that they haven't had sex because of Johnny's nervousness over accidentally getting pregnant before they're financially settled and ready to be parents. But even that isn't presented as a major issue for them — just something that they will work out in the future.
In fact, as several of the couples butt heads in the Dominican Republic during the post-engagement getaway in episodes five and six, Johnny and Amy manage to stay entirely out of the fray. We don't hear them say a single negative thing about one another and they're consistently affectionate, speaking highly of their physical chemistry despite the lack of sex.
Out of the five couples this season of "Love Is Blind" follows, Amy and Johnny seem to be one of the surest bets for success. But did they make it to the altar, and if so, did they last beyond filming? Here's what we know.
Are Johnny and Amy from 'Love Is Blind' still together after the show?
Every season, there has been at least one couple that makes it to the altar and gets married. By process of elimination, Amy and Johnny would be the surest bet to fill that role: Of all the "Love Is Blind" season six couples, Amy and Johnny seem to be the strongest so far, and the ones with the highest likelihood of getting married and building a lasting relationship post-show.
In terms of real, tangible evidence, though, there's not much out there yet — Amy and Johnny haven't spoiled the outcome of their season on social media, as far as we can tell. The two are following one another on Instagram, which is a good sign: Amy liked Johnny's post revealing that he'd be on the show, and Johnny has also liked several of Amy's posts about being on the show.
Amy also wrote in the caption of her year-end wrap-up post on Instagram that 2023 had been "soooo good" to her, which sounds pretty positive — and not like an indication of a broken engagement and televised heartbreak.
The next three episodes of "Love Is Blind" season six air on February 21.
