RBI asks card network to restrain unauthorised commercial payment system

New Delhi [India], February 15 (ANI): The Reserve Bank of India on Thursday restrained a card network that had an arrangement to enable businesses to make card payments through certain intermediaries to entities that do not accept card payments.

The central bank, however, did not specify the name of the card network.

"It has come to the notice of Reserve Bank of India that a Card Network had an arrangement that enables bu
