'Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft' program cancelled by US Army

WASHINGTON D.C.: After spending some US$2 billion on the program, the U.S. Army says that it will cancel the development of a Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA), a next-generation scout helicopter.

After a "sober assessment of the modern battlefield," the Army added that it would instead increase investment in uncrewed aircraft.
