I’m a 66 year old OAP & love wearing mini skirts – my age has its perks, Dad no longer asks where rest of my outfit is
FROM hair rollers to ‘granny’ cardigans, there are certain images that spring to mind when you think of an OAP.
But one super fit 66-year-old woman named Stephanie, who often posts fitness videos online showing off her svelte figure, is proof that fashion trends have no age limit.
A 66-year-old loves flaunting her figure in short mini skirts[/caption]And it’s little wonder the OAP is keen to show off her slender legs in short mini skirts – after all, she’s a regular gym bunny who works hard to look good.
In a recent clip shard to TikTok (@seniorstrong), Stephanie can be seen pouting for the camera, before stepping back to reveal her very trendy outfit.
With her brunette locks swept back in a half up and half down do, she proudly rocks a thigh-high tweed purple and black mini skirt, which she pairs with a low-cut blouse and lilac blazer.
She completes the look with knee-high black boots, oversized sunglasses and some dangling earrings.
“At 66 I no longer have to worry about my dad asking me where the rest of my skirt is,” she says.
Stephanie captioned the post: “Being older has its perks.”
It’s no surprise the post quickly went viral, with many taking to the comments section to praise Stephanie’s youthful glow.
“My goal in life to look like this at 66,” enthused one.
A second noted: “You are a beautiful Barbie!”
A third commented: “Love this!!!!!!!
And one more added: “Slay!”
In a previous video, Stephanie told how she enjoyed showing off her toned tummy in crop tops – adding that people would be naked all the time if they had a body like hers.
Wearing a tiny cropped vest top and skimpy denim shorts, she wrote: “Society thinks I’m too old at 65 to dress this way, but I’ve never been one to care what society thinks.”
Sharing a short clip of herself lifting some heavy weights, Stephanie, who refers to herself as “strong and fit,” added: “I decided how I dress, act and most importantly how I age… not society.
“Dressing, acting & ageing on my terms.”
