Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah’s 15th Budget on Friday was more fluff than substance as far as the coast was concerned, save a bit for the fishers. The key promises made in the Coastal specific poll manifesto during the last polls, did not find mention in the budget like unveiling a road map to make Mangaluru the next IT capital and a Garment Industry hub of India, for creating a lakh Jobs in the region.
