Evacuation underway on OU campus over 'suspicious package'

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - Authorities have issued an immediate evacuation of Gaylord Hall at the University of Oklahoma over what they call a suspicious package.

The following message was sent to OU students and staff:

OU-NORMAN Emergency 1:17 p.m. Suspicious package Norman Campus reported near Asp Ave. east of Gaylord Hall. Avoid the area.
