I DIYed a flower wall for under $100 with Dollar Tree buys – it would be perfect for a spring or summer wedding
A DIY pro revealed how she created a decorative backdrop for under $100 by shopping at a discount store.
She said it would be perfect the perfect background for spring or summer pictures, or even a wedding.
TikToker Zhone Lashay (@zhonetheekreator) showed her followers how she made a flower wall for under $100.
In the hashtags of her post, Zhone revealed that she purchased her supplies from Dollar Tree.
She also added hashtags for “summer wedding,” “spring wedding” and “wedding inspiration.”
She started with 15 to 20 bouquets of fake flowers in different colors.
Then, she bought foam boards from Dollar Tree and taped them together with heavy-duty packing tape.
To get the flowers into place, Zhone used a screwdriver to create a hole for the flower.
She removed the stem and leaves, and then hot glued the flower into place.
Zhone said her tip was to “double the tape” for better support.
People in the comments section loved Zhone’s creation.

Some people were curious about the foam board.
“This is nice. What did you use as the baseboard,” a follower asked.
“Dollar tree foam boards,” Zhone answered.
“If yours isn’t sold out I definitely recommend getting white! Mine was sold out,” she added.
