Off the Beaten Path: 3D Seashell Photo Exhibit
AVERILL PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) - The owners of a former small seashell museum in Troy are sharing their unique collection of shells with people around the world through 3D photographs. The "Stereoscopic Seashell Photo Exhibit" showcases pairs of photographs taken from slightly different angles, simulating the way our eyes see objects.
The free exhibit is located at Sand Lake Center for the Art at 2880 Rt 43 in Averill Park. It will be open from February 4-29 and open during the Center’s gallery hours.
If you miss out on the pop-up event, don't worry, you're in luck! The Jewels of the Sea Seashell Museum is open the first Saturday of the month at the Tech Center of Gravity in Troy, N.Y.
