FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Monday Evening,
It has been a slightly warmer than normal day today, which has helped to melt down some of the snow left on the ground, and make for some bare spots. However, with a snowpack still left in a good part of our area, expect the clear skies and light winds tonight, to lead to temps back in the low to mid 20s.
Tuesday we will continue with plenty of sunshine and highs back above normal in the upper 40s, about a half dozen above normal for this time of the year. We will start to see less snow, and this will lead to warmer nights, with lows near 30 on Wednesday. Mostly sunny skies will lead to highs in the lower 50s on Wednesday.
Wednesday night, rain showers should return, and bring an end to most of the snow that is left on the ground, temps will remain quite mild, in the lower 40s. Thursday will be a wet day with rain expected in the forecast, with a weak front pushing through, and highs in the middle 50s. We will have clearing skies for Friday, with breezy conditions and highs in the upper 40s.
A reinforcing shot of cooler air will dive south Friday night, and will drop temps back to just below normal in the lower 40s to near 40 on Saturday with mostly sunny skies. Expect winds to shift for Sunday with temps going back above normal again, with highs in the middle 50s.
More clouds are expected to start next work week with a few isolated showers possible on Monday with highs in the middle to upper 50s.
