Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: Mariah Carey, Cher should be inducted in 2024 [POLL RESULTS]
In a recent poll we asked which of the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees YOU would like to see inducted and the votes are in! Mariah Carey and Cher topped the field, with a single vote separating the legendary divas at the time of this writing — so let’s just call it a tie. Last year’s induction ceremony in Brooklyn included Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners. Elliott became the first female rapper to make the cut. A Tribe Called Quest is the only 2023 nominee to be selected again in 2024. An artist is eligible 25 years after a first recording is released. The 2024 inductees will be announced in April, with the induction ceremony taking place in Cleveland and streaming live on Disney+ later this year.
