STRICTLY Come Dancing star Robin Windsor’s sudden death has left pros and former celebs of the show heartbroken – with tributes declaring him ‘a legend’.
Pro dancer Robin, who appeared on the show from series eight through to 11, was confirmed to have died today at the age of 44 by his Burn The Floor performance troupe.
James Jordan, a fellow former Strictly pro, was among the first to share his condolences, writing: “I had the pleasure of working with this man for many years on Strictly.
“Everyone who came in contact with him adored him, from his celebrity partners to his working colleagues.”
“You will be missed old friend,” he concluded, adding the hashtag #Legend to the end of the post.
Lisa Riley, who was partnered with Robin for her Strictly stint in 2012, was also similarly heartbroken, sharing a series of intimate pics of the pair giggling during their time together on the show.
“My Bestie, My Robin, My Angel…….now our forever Angel, who is loved, will always be loved, forever in my heart……my very broken heart,” she wrote.
“I love you, shine your beautiful, electric energy from heaven. SHINE IN PEACE.”
Robin’s cause of death is not currently known, with Burn The Floor simply reflecting on his time with the company.
