‘She’s one of us!’ say Love Island fans as they spot ‘clue’ Maya Jama ‘wants Callum and Molly back together’
LOVE Island fans claim to have spotted the All Stars final moment that proves host Maya Jama wants Callum Jones and Molly Smith to rekindle their romance.
Molly ended up winning the series with Tom Clare while ex Callum finished in second with Jess Gale.
Many fans had hoped the exes would reunite and win the series together but it never transpired.
Now viewers think that Maya is “one of them” and was secretly rooting for the pair too.
One posted on X: “Maya wants Callum and Molly to see the light,even brought up how she went back to her Stormzy, she’s one of us [laughter emojis]
“Even mentioned that Callum helped with dog idea, she’s so real.”
Another said: “Maya wants Callum and molly to see the light.”
The moment in question came when Maya spoke about her own love life and how she reunited with rapper Stormzy after four years apart.
The music star was in attendance for the final and has been totally smitten with May since they gave things another go last year.
Discussing how fans had been keen for them to rekindle their relationship, host Maya said she could “relate” as people had been encouraging her to get back with Stormzy.
She said: “I did have a lot of people saying I should get back with my ex – sometimes its not what you’re ready for.
“Its worked out well in the end.”
When Callum first entered the villa as a bombshell, he initially chose to couple up with ex-girlfriend Molly as he felt they still needed to clear the air on their past relationship.
Talking about navigating romance within the villa with her ex there, Molly said: “I think obviously from the outside looking in, people won’t understand.
“We’re in an intense environment and you’ve got to get along so it kind of forced us to be friends.
“We probably wouldn’t be at this stage on the outside, it probably would have just been a bit awkward, but I feel like it’s got us to a place that we never would have gotten to, and I’m actually grateful for that.”
