The Masked Singer fans stunned at Lemar’s real age after he is revealed as Cricket
THE Masked Singer star Lemar stunned fans with his real age after he was revealed as Cricket in the final.
The former Fame Academy winner finished in third place, narrowly missing out on the runner-up spot to Big Foot, who was unmasked as TV presenter Alex Brooker.
While Piranha was crowned as the champion on Saturday night and was none other than McFly star Danny Jones.
Lemar wowed fans with his silky smooth voice week after week on the ITV singing competition.
The Time To Grow hitmaker, who is 45-years-old, also left fans open-mouthed with his age-defying looks.
One wrote: ” Woah. He’s 45! That’s some good genes making him look 25!”
A second posted: “No way is Lemar 45. He looks great for his age.”
While another added: “Lemar your voice is beautiful. You look amazing. You never age.”
It comes after fans were left unhappy with the results on Saturday.
Some fans said that Lemar was miles better than Alex and should have at least come second place.
One disgruntled viewer wrote: “Why is Big Foot still in Masked Singer.
He is a rubbish singer. Lemar has a much better voice as Cricket.
“I think its all a fix and each celebrity just says how many episodes they want to do, or the studio audience are tone deaf.”
A second angry fan posted: “They kept Bigfoot who can’t sing over Lemar! I smell a fix coming!”
A third fumed: “Absolute fix Bigfoot got into the top two. Cricket was awesome and totally robbed.”
Last week, singers Tiffany Darwish and Keala Settle were revealed to be Eiffel Tower and Air Fryer respectively in a double elimination.
In the final all three of the remaining characters were unmasked as they went head-to-head performing two songs each in front of the judges.
For their second tracks, they were joined up on stage with a duet partner as Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and chat show host Jonathan Ross were left guessing.
Piranha was then revealed as noughties singer Danny during the big reveal.
The 37-year-old told host Joel Dommett: “I’ve had the most amazing time, I can escape behind here and just be Piranha and sing these songs.
“I’ve learnt so much, I’m able to sing higher now just from being on this show. I am so happy, thank you!”
