‘Look at that glow’ gushes mum as ‘so good’ wonder product brightens her tired skin in seconds
A BEAUTY fan has hailed a drugstore wonder product for giving her tired skin an immediate glow.
Kerri Roma Anderson, from Bo’ness, West Lothian, regularly shares her makeup hauls and skincare tips on TikTok (@roma_0490).
Over the past year, the single mum has been focusing more on looking after her skin and testing out new products.
She said: “I’ve been trying to step away from foundations and really harsh concealers and that.
“I’ve been focusing on skincare, maintenance and the base that I’ve been putting on.”
And in a recent video, the 33-year-old nurse – who boasts almost 500,000 followers – tested out Garnier’s new vitamin C daily UV range.
Trying the glow brightening fluid with SPF 50+, she said: “This one’s got a tint.
“If you didn’t already know, vitamin C is an antioxidant. It helps brighten your skin and in my thirties, I can use all the brightening.
“And as wild as it sounds, we actually do have to be using an SPF, even living in Scotland.
“Regardless of how minging it is in the UK, there is still UVA in UVB light that comes through and damages your skin.”
SPF, or Sun Protection Factor, is a measurement of how well your skin will be protected from UVB rays.
SPF works by prolonging the amount of time you can stay in the sun without getting burned, for example; if you typically burn after 30 minutes, by using SPF 30 your sun will be safe for 900 minutes.
Using SPF every day, and even topping it up daily, will not only protect you from UVA and UVB rays but also reduce signs of ageing, shield against hyperpigmentation and strengthen your skin barrier.
Garnier bosses also promise that their £12.99 product “boosts brightness and improves complexion and mineral pigments for instant radiance and glow”.
And Kerri noticed an immediate result as she gushed: “Look at that glow, what?”
She added: “Can we just take a minute to appreciate this?
“That is so good. I’m genuinely buzzing about that. Wow.”
Her before and after video racked up more than 76,000 with beauty fans desperate to give the product a go.
One gushed: “Your skin is gorgeous.”
A second wrote: “Immediate purchase, your skin is beautiful.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “Just ordered the glow one.”
