She also dazzled as she hit the Bafta’s red carpet, revealing her growing bump in a full-length figure-hugging gown.
As she uploaded a snap showing her all-white attire on Instagram, capturing her with a tender hand on her belly, one troll took fire.
The keyboard bully sarcastically quipped: “How heavy is the bump?
“Not seen a picture with you hand off it.”
Another added: “Looks terrible!
“And “I really hate that cradling of the baby bump. So affected, it screams ‘look at me, I’m pregnant, aren’t I superior to you’. Urgh.”
Yet the stand-up’s loyal Instagram followers were quick to clap back on her behalf.
One raged: “Literally a way of bonding with her baby, bore off.”
A second added: “Who cares, if she wants to touch her belly while her baby is in there let her it is gonna affect your life.”
A third then put: “How dare she cradle her baby! Clueless comment mate.”
Emily also re-posted the cruel comments, adding the words: “I’m carry a human love not a Prada sodding handbag.”
The Channel 4 star is soon set to welcome her first child with scientist Dr Alistair Garner, with their happy news announced last month.
She is already five months pregnant and has moved in with her man as they prepare for their baby’s arrival.
Eagle-eyed fans recently speculated on the ways she had managed to conceal her baby belly as she kept her news secret.
Recently, the star showed off her baby bump in a black sports bra.
Yet, keeping her fans up to date with her first maternity journey, she then told how she had become “very sick” – yet had found a remedy in the form of ginger biscuits.
Emily – whose baby is due in April – wrote in her initial baby reveal: “Hello Everyone, it’s been a little while but I’m back with some news. I’m delighted to share with you all that we’re having a baby!!
“I’ve never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time.
“Please go easy on me.
“Every day is mixed with thrill, fear, joy, hysteria, topped off with a lot of vomiting – a bit like when you’ve just stepped off of the Oblivion at Alton Towers on a hangover.”
