I’m a 66-year-old ‘Queenager’ after reversing ageing & transforming my body – I’m in my ‘power decade’ & everyone agrees
A FIT 66-year-old gran has left people shocked with her incredible transformation and she looks decades younger.
Julia Olson took to social media to share her incredible body transformation and she looks even better than she did in her 20s.
These two photos were taken just five years apart[/caption]The nan who often refers to herself and her followers as ‘Queenagers’ revealed she used to suffer with diabetes, making her put on weight and in general not feel her best self.
But instead of letting it dictate her life, she decided to start focusing on her health in her early 60s and hasn’t looked back.
She said: “WORK ON MINDSET FIRST.
“A weight lifting lifestyle & high quality nutrition will heal your body.”
And from the looks of her before and after photos it certainly does.
In the before picture at the age of 26, Julia was clearly a much larger weight with a ‘moon face’ and ‘bloated belly’.

Now the slim 66-year-old has toned arms and a defined stomach and a slimmer face.
Julia proved that you can reverse ageing as she showed another set of before and after photos of herself aged 62 and how she looks now – almost five years on.
“A reminder that you can age backwards,” she said.
“This represents almost 5 years of dedication to my health from age 62 to 66 (67 in March.)”
“This is when it gets goooood. The 60s are MY POWER DECADE,” she added.
The glam gran admits life hasn’t always been easier for her – developing diabetes in her childhood, her kidneys failing, heart disease and no thyroid.
“I beat the Angel of Death twice,” she said.
As she anxiously awaited a new kidney, doctors advised her to undergo an experimental procedure and receive a replacement pancreas.
Despite the potential health risk, she eventually received both organs as part of a 12 hour ‘touch and go surgery’.
Though the op was a success, she would have other health scares including a triple heart bypass – which is when she made the bold decision to reshape her body.
The then-middle aged woman started going to the gym five days a week and drastically changed her diet – adding extra protein and complex carbs.
Having fallen back in love with fitness, she continued to challenge herself and entered her first bodybuilding contest at 64.
Now, the 66 year old loves showing off her svelte frame in crystal covered bikinis and tans during her various competitions.
But she went on to say that her new healthy lifestyle has given her a zest for life she could have only dreamed of when she was younger.
Julia also has a book titled My Power Decade where she discusses in depth how she turned her health and life around.
Now, the grandma has amassed a following of over 163k on her Instagram page @dolphinine and adoring fans can’t get enough of her inspiring story.
Many took to the comments to praise her and couldn’t believe just how much she had defied the ageing process.
One person wrote: “You’re an inspiration to everyone chasing the healthy ageing dream!”
Another commented: “You look amazing, power to you.”
“Simply amazing!” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Wow! I’m so impressed.”
“Wow fabulous,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “What an inspiration.”
