He’s Got Power And Ferocity – SD Hails Capture Of Aberdeen Loan Star

Kristiansund sporting director Eirik Hoseth is of the view that Aberdeen loanee Pape Gueye will offer power and ferocity to the Norwegian outfit’s forward department.

The 24-year-old centre forward joined Aberdeen from Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk in the summer but has failed to make an impact at Pittodrie this season.

Gueye is down the pecking order at Aberdeen and the Dons decided to send the Senegalese forward on loan to Norwegian club Kristiansund.

The centre forward has previous experience playing in Norway during his time with Aalesund and Hoseth believes that Gueye will be able to play in several forward positions for Kristiansund.

He also pointed out that the Aberdeen star will add ferocity and power to their forward line-up and thinks that he has the potential to put his stamp on the Norwegian league if used properly.

“He gives us power and ferocity in attack, where he can play in all three front positions”, Hoseth told Kristiansund’s official site. 

“He has the potential to make his mark on the Norwegian league if we manage to play him well.”

Gueye will ply his trade under Kristiansund manager Amund Skiri this season and will be hoping to impress for the Norwegian side.
