Lucas Bergvall thinks Heung-min Son is better than Mbappe, Salah and Haaland
Lucas Bergvall may not be plying his trade in North London just yet, but he has proven he is a Spurs fan through and through with his latest social media appearance, where he picks Heung-min Son as the better player against Mo Salah, Kylian Mbappe, and Erling Haaland.
Spurs sent shockwaves through the world of football at the start of this month when they ended the transfer window with the signing of Lucas Bergvall in an £8.5m deal (Daily Mail).
Snatching the highly-rated youngster from the grasp of Barcelona surprised many, and Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has already spoken about how excited he is to work with the talented Bergvall.
We won’t get to see the 18-year-old in action for Spurs, as he is remaining with Djurgardens until the end of the season, before linking up with the Lilywhites in the summer.
Bergvall is a big fan of Sonny
Still, Bergvall clearly has his priorities right already. In a video from Sporttouchen’s TikTok, Bergvall is quizzed and has to pick between a number of different players, including Heung-min Son, whom he plumps for over some pretty big names.
First up, Bergvall is asked to pick either Mo Salah or Son, and he chooses the latter in a heartbeat. Next up, Bergvall is presented with Kylian Mbappe or Son, and after a moment’s deliberation, he chooses his future teammate once more.
Son also makes it past Erling Haaland without too much consideration, but the South Korean star is finally beaten by Bergvall’s compatriot, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Spurs Web Opinion
I would call Son a world-class player, and he’s the kind of star who would not look out of place in literally any team in the world. He’s a true Spurs legend, and an incredible captain. And, for what it’s worth, he’s better than Zlatan, but we’ll let Lucas off for that one.
