Vermont man arrested for alleged theft in Middle Granville

FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Eric M. Tuepker of Rutland, Vermont, is facing a felony charge of grand larceny in the fourth degree. Tuepker was initially arrested in Vermont on unrelated charges when police discovered he was wanted in New York.

Tuepker was extradited to Washington County and arraigned in Centralized Arraignment. The charges stem from a theft reported by a business in Middle Granville. He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Town of Granville Court at a later date.

Police say Tuepker did not act alone in the theft. Additional arrests are likely.
