I’m a G-cup & Skims finally make strapless bras in my size – I tried two but they didn’t pass the dancefloor bounce test
BUYING strapless bras when you’re over a certain cup size can require some tried and tested techniques.
A woman with a G cup shared her thoughts on a style from Kim Kardashian’s Skims.
In her video, Antoinette Taranets (@twoniver) explained that she wanted to test the strapless bra’s support for larger chests.
“Skims started making strapless bras in sizes larger than DDD so you know I’m going to be putting not one but two sizes to the test to answer the question ‘Will they fit my big heart?’” she said.
The TikToker told her audience that she usually only wears strapless styles when a dress requires them.
“I’m going to a wedding so that means it better hold the girls down and deal with some jumping around, we don’t mess when it comes to dancefloors,” Antoinette said.
She showed her followers the $54 Fits Everybody Strapless Bra in both a G and H cup.
“I can already tell I would not be able to dance in this,” she told her audience as she posed in the G cup.
After sizing up to the H cup, Antoinette shared her initial thoughts on the item.
“Not that I can tell that much of a difference but I do think there’s slightly more coverage on this one,” she said.
She carried out another bounce test on the larger cup size.
“Let’s dance, OK, it’s still not great,” Antoinette told her followers.
“Technically the second one fit, I just didn’t find it as supportive as I wanted.”
She pointed out that most women with larger chests often need additional support with their clothing as well as their bras.
“Realistically, I think if you’re a girl with a big heart and you’re rocking a strapless you just need to wear a really tight dress with it,” Antoinette said.
“Another day, another disappointment for the big hearts club.”
Her followers shared their thoughts on the Skims bra in the comments section.
“I could see they’re too small before you [them] tried on,” one viewer said.
“I think with the second one, if you tried the strap hack, the one where you wrap them around you horizontally, it might stay,” suggested another TikTok user.
