OKC Parks brings youth baseball to Oklahoma City for the first time
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Little League Baseball is bound for Oklahoma City for the first time this spring thanks to OKC Parks & Recreation.
Registration is now open for 10-12-year-olds at okc.gov/parks.
“Little League allows the OKC community to experience competitive youth baseball while building skills for both the sport and life,” Recreation Program Coordinator for Athletics Kelly Young said. “It will bring national exposure and support to communities that typically get overlooked. OKC Parks Little League provides an opportunity for children of all backgrounds to learn and grow through unique and unforgettable experiences.”
For a 10-game season, the registration fee is $65 per player, and registration ends March 17.
Games will be played at Stars & Stripes Park at Field #1 beginning at 4 p.m. on April 22.
