3 escape from Woodburn correctional facility, police still searching

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Three young men escaped from a Woodburn youth correctional facility Sunday night, authorities said.

According to the Oregon Youth Authority, Angel Diaz-Barrera, Julian Diaz-Navarro, and Xavier Swimm, all age 19, escaped from MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility a little after 9:00 p.m. and law enforcement is still searching for them.

Diaz-Barrera was serving time for first-degree robbery and carrying and use of a dangerous weapon, Diaz-Navarro was serving time for first-degree attempted assault and carry and use of a dangerous weapon, and Swimm was serving time for second-degree attempted assault and aggravated harassment.

Anyone who sees the teens or has information about their escape is asked to call police.
