Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Empire State Plaza
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The NYS Office of General Services is hosting its third annual Lunar New Year Celebration on the Empire State Plaza's south concourse on Wednesday, February 21. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to attend.
The celebration will feature art exhibits, live performances, a demonstration of the Lion Dance, interactive displays, giveaways, and more. The official program begins at 11:30 a.m. Participating food vendors include Baba Duck, Yono's, Two Little Dumpings, and Kuma Ani.
The event will be attended by various organizations and individuals, including The Chinese Community Center, The Taiwanese American Association of the Capital District, the Korean Association of Albany, Diaspora Indonesia, the Albany Chapter of Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association, Silvia Mioc, the New York State Museum, M&T Bank, and Trader Joe's.
