MAGA faithful erupts in rage over Nikki Haley comment: 'Anti-Republican witch!'
Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has no intention of leaving the race for president and in a speech on Tuesday, she proclaimed that former President Donald Trump — who is currently beating her overwhelmingly in polls for the nomination — is in cognitive decline.
This promptly led to attacks on her from the former president's supporters.
"We've all heard the calls for me to drop out. We all know where they're coming from. The political elite, the party bosses, the cheerleaders in the commentator world," Haley said early in the speech. She insisted she wasn't going anywhere, and later in the speech laid out why.
"We're talking about the most demanding job in human history. You don't give it to someone who's at risk of dementia."
Trump supporters were enraged at the attack on the former president, who has come under criticism in recent weeks for apparent cognitive mistakes, like confusing Haley with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
"If Team Trump wanted to, they could start leaking the goods on Nikki to various outlets like they did with DeSantis...they could drop non-stop MOABs, and have her disappear like Carly Fiorina," said a user going by the name "Steven" on X. "Not sure why they won't. Hopefully they will though."

"Sticky Nikki cementing her destruction further each day," wrote "FoCo."
"Something a Trojan horse would say, I mean a Democrat," wrote an account calling itself "1776." "I mean, what do they have on her?"
"Nikki Haley is an absolute anti-republican jackass witch who thinks she can win the Republican nominee for president!" proclaimed a user called "Katherine." "If you want to talk about dementia, this woman has it there is no chance in hell she will be the nominee! Wake up America stop listening to jackasses like Haley."
Trump, for his part, has aggressively denied having any cognitive issues and has bragged about passing the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). However, the creator of this test has stressed that passing it cannot rule out cognitive decline; all the test can do is indicate it with its failure.
