OKC Baseball Club Prepares for 2024 Season With No Nickname

The Oklahoma City Triple-A baseball team will be known as the Oklahoma City Baseball Club for the entire 2024 season, as the team goes through the process of changing to a new nickname, logo and colors.

The team is still affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers, but have eliminated the nickname "Dodgers" for the OKC club.

On Tuesday, the team held a news conference, saying rather than rushing to get a new nickname for 2024, they chose to take their time, select a name they believe fits OKC, and have it ready for the 2025 season.
