‘This is what I get for using Shein’ shopper fumes as ball gown turns up looking nothing like the pictures
CATFISHING doesn’t just happen with dating – you can be catfished by clothes too.
Many of us know the horror of opening a parcel to find that what we ordered is very different to what we received.

That includes Emily Probst, who ordered a ball gown from fast fashion giant Shein to be sent a dress that looked “not even close” to the pictures.
“I suppose this is what I get for using Shein,” she said on Facebook.
Emily picked up a dress with a satin skirt and sleeveless mesh bodice adorned with glitter and gems.
In a weird turn of events, she was sent a short-sleeve frock littered with sequins.
The only similarity was the length of the dresses and the blush pink colour.
“It’s not even close,” Hanka Červinková commented.
“The original has barely any sequins on it and the one you received is drowning in them,” Maricella Duval added.
“How does that make sense?
“I’d be emailing customer service.”
Sarah Nagy joked that the dress “isnt so bad if you’re going to be the mother-of-the-bride in the Nineties”.
However, some shoppers were adamant there had been a mix up with orders and insisted the disparity in the designs must be “a genuine mistake”.
“I think they sent you the wrong dress,” Julie Gardner suggested.
“I’ve never had a problem with Shein.
“But I’ve never ordered any formal dresses from them either so I can’t be sure.”
Samy Niegut echoed the same sentiment.
“I’ve never had any problems with Shein,” she penned.
“That looks like a legitimate mistake, like they sent you the actual wrong dress.
“I’d email them.
“They’re usually amazing if anything is wrong.”
