Sainsbury’s release ‘the dress of spring’ for just £25 as shoppers race to snap it up before it sells out
A BARGAIN frock in Sainsbury’s has been hailed as the “dress of spring” – and it’s already selling out.
The supermarket recently launched the green gingham midaxi dress on TU Clothing rails across the country.

“In a flattering v-neckline, it has pretty tie details on the sleeves and has a button-down front.
“Perfect for weekends spent out and about.”
The dress is available in sizes 6-24 and even comes in short, regular and long options.
And it’s already sold out in several sizes online, with just a few remaining.
Spotting it in her local store, fashionista Poppy Adams said: “I feel like this is going to be the dress of spring/summer.
“I had to buy this one before it sold out.”
Elsewhere in store, shoppers have been left stunned after spotting a pair of green trainers that give total Adidas vibes.
“Basically Adidas for £18?!” Lucy wrote in a video of the trainers, which feature differing shades of green and tan soles.
“They’re sold out now [online], but they’re called Green Retro Low Profile Trainers”.
“The trainers!!! Running there,” one person commented on the TikTok.
And the trainers weren’t the only dupes in the store.
Lucy also posted a snap of some cute tan ballet-style flats, with a black toe and even a little bow.
“Chanel who?” she wrote over the top of the image of the £16 shoes.
She later joked: “Going in for my weekly shop and coming out spending £80 on PJs!”
But not everyone has been left impressed by Sainsbury’s fashion recently, as a pair of fashionistas branded the knitwear “vile” and spotted jeans that took them back to 2003.
‘We explored the entirety of the women’s wear section and were very underwhelmed,” they said.
”It’s always a difficult time of year for fashion in between seasons, hopefully we will see an improvement within a few weeks.”
