‘Think you’ve got the whole cow’ praise shoppers after woman wipes the shelf for half price steak
WE ALL love a bargain – especially when it drives down the price of our food shop.
And one woman was thrilled when she hit the jackpot and wiped the shelves of tonnes of steak.

Cathy Bazeley took to social media to share her bargain haul of goodies and people were gobsmacked by just how much steak she picked up.
She shared her haul of meaty goodies with the Facebook group, Yellow sticker society, which boasts over 200k members.
The group often share their yellow-sticker hauls – which has become an increasingly popular way to shop as food prices continue to inflate with the UK in a cost of living crisis and recession.
“In the right place at the right time for once,” she said.
In the photo, she had five packs of four rump steaks all with a delicious butter glaze from Aldi.
Each of the packs were 50% and while Cathy didn’t state the total of her haul, it seems she found a huge bargain as a pack of two from Aldi costs £6.99 full price.
The best part, is that Cathy is able to freeze the 20 steaks she wiped from the shelf so it won’t be going to waste.
Yellow-sticker items are not guaranteed and most shops have specific times where they put yellow-stickers on fresh food items.
Many supermarkets do this to help reduce food waste while allowing customers to pick up a bargain.
The post was a hit with other members of the group receiving over 190 likes.
People were quick to congratulate her on the bargains – with one joking she had basically bought an entire cow.
One person wrote: “Well done you.”
Another commented: “Nice! Well done.”
“Think you’ve got a full cow there,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Bargain.”
“Outstanding,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Well done.”
