It was an excellent result of Jess’s (@jess_einaudi) thrift shopping foray
She has 56,000 TikTok followers, where she admits she will probably be talking about “vintage or my wedding.”
A lover of vintage fashion, she was thrilled with her dress discovery.
“My absolute best thrift store find,” she said in her post.
She recently married in Italy and felt this dress was meant for her.
“This vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress is the ultimate thrift store score,” she said.
“I’m going back to Italy on Saturday so this was fate.”
She could so easily have missed it but something caught her eye.
“I was at my favorite charity shop in all of Houston and I saw something as I was heading out,” she wrote.
“I grabbed it. Their changing rooms were closed so I wasn’t able to try it on, so I rushed home.”
It was a classic Dolce & Gabbana style and print.
“I’m not much of a Dolce print girl but I’m obsessed with the black floral print,” she wrote.
She had her fingers crossed it would fit. All concerns were swept away once she saw her reflection.
“Oh my God, look at this. The draping all on the back,” she said.
“I’m sorry, this is giving me the va va voom where I really didn’t have any before.
“It’s like perfectly contouring without being too tight.
“I was just looking and they are still like $1,000 online.
“I just got married in Italy and we’re going back this week to Lake Garda. This can be my day look.
“I think my whole identity just changed in this dress. Dolce Vita baby.”
Commenters were seduced by the dress as much as she was.
“I’m hyperventilating. Absolutely gorgeous,” said one dress fan.
“Holy grail lovely,” said another.
“Literal perfection. You were born to wear that dress,” was the opinion of this person.
“The most amazing find,” figured a second person.
