India allows foreign cargo flights from Intl airports for 3 yrs

0
India has decided to allow foreign airlines to operate non-scheduled cargo flights from all international airports in the country for three years, lifting restrictions imposed in 2020. The move follows lobbying by exporters who raised concerns about limited goods capacity due to Indian carriers not deploying enough aircraft to meet demand. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued a circular on February 12, stating that foreign and non-scheduled freighter charter service operations will be permitted at all international airports to facilitate air cargo movements.
