Juventus Plotting To Bring Price Of Tottenham Target Down

Juventus could offer a player to Genoa to lower the transfer outlay on Tottenham Hotspur target Albert Gudmundsson in the summer transfer window.

Genoa fought hard to keep the attacker at the club beyond the end of the January window despite serious interest from clubs in Italy and the Premier League.

However, the club are resigned to losing him in the summer with Tottenham expected to try and sign him in the coming months.

Spurs are banking on their relationship with Gudmundsson’s agents to secure a deal, but they are likely to face stiff competition from Juventus.

And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, the Serie A giants are prepared to offer a player to Genoa to lower their asking price.

Genoa are said to be demanding somewhere around €30m to €35m for the player, but Juventus do not want to pay such sums.

The Bianconeri are considering letting Genoa sign one of their players to lower the transfer outlay.

Negotiations are yet to begin but Juventus are already putting plans in place to try and sign Gudmundsson.
