The TikToker explained that she started to lose her hair very suddenly, which she said had a “huge impact” on her mental health.

She said that it was falling out in clumps every day, and she had no idea why.

Sonia said: “If you are losing hair like this, you need to speak to your doctor in case you have any vitamin deficiencies or any other medical issues.

“I had a blood test and was told my iron levels were really low”.

After consulting with a doctor, Sonia began taking hair vitamins every day, as well as multivitamins, to improve her general health.

You can purchase hair vitamins from Boots for around £20.

As well as this, Sonia made a homemade hair oil using six different types of oil.

She used coconut oil (available at the supermarket for around £2), almond oil, castor oil, black seed oil and two different types of hair oils.

All of these products contain beneficial vitamins and minerals that can help to stimulate hair growth and maintain healthy hair.

Sonia said she used the oil mixture twice a week and left the oils in for a few hours, before washing out.

As well as this, Sonia said that she only washed her hair twice a week, and washed it with a special brand of shampoo called Hairburst.

Hairburst is available to purchase from Holland & Barrett for £27.49.

A description on the website reads: “Designed to encourage normal hair growth, Hairburst shampoo and conditioner is here to help you fall in love with your locks again, guiding you on a hair recovery journey whatever your hair type”.

After just one month of using the above products, Sonia said her hair feels “fuller”, is not falling out anymore and is slowly growing back.

Hair loss in women can occur for many reasons, such as stress, after giving birth or genetics.

Always consult your GP for advice before starting any hair loss treatments.

Sonia’s video is sure to have left many impressed as it racked up over 400,000 views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on Sonia’s hair loss journey.

One user said: “Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I’m in the same boat and it definitely makes me feel better after seeing your story.”

Another user said: “I started using Hairburst and within one month my hair stopped shedding.

“It worked like magic”.

Another user said: “Due to stress i was losing all my hair.

“I mixed all of those oils and once a month use a hair mask made from egg yogurt and honey.

“It works wonders”.
