Costume Designers Guild Awards: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users
Congratulations to our User MellowDrama for a great score of 85.71% when predicting the 2024 Costume Designers Guild Awards winners on Wednesday. Our top scorer is actually tied with 95 other people at that percentage but has a better point score of 18,805 by using the two Super Bets (500 points each) wisely.
Almost 1,100 people worldwide predicted these movie and TV champs in a ceremony hosted by Wendi McLendon-Covey. Our top User got six of seven categories correct. The night featured major film wins by “Poor Things,” “Barbie” and “Saltburn,” plus top television victories by “Ahsoka,” “The Great,” “Beef” and “A Black Lady Sketch Show.”

For our 11 Gold Derby Editors predicting, we have a six-way tie with the best score of 71.43% for Chris Beachum, Denton Davidson, Joyce Eng, Rob Licuria, Matt Noble and Paul Sheehan. Beyond Eng, Richmond and Rosen, we had six other Experts predicting. Of that group, Tariq Khan (Gold Derby) is best at 85.71%, tying the overall high score for all users. Clayton Davis (Variety), Matt Neglia (Next Best Picture), Jazz Tangcay (Variety) and Anne Thompson (IndieWire) have a 71.43% accuracy rate. Finishing at 28.57% is Susan King (Gold Derby).
